Die Komposition "Sotterranea" bezieht sich auf die Stadt im Untergrund von Neapel. Die Tunnel und Höhlen hatten viele verschiedene Funktionen, unter anderem dienten sie als Schutz vor Bombenangriffen. Die einem Labyrinth ähnelnde Struktur scheint beim betreten mysteriös und schön zugleich. In meiner Komposition habe ich versucht das Gefühl der einerseits ruhigen, sehr intimen Atmosphäre und dem andererseits überwältigenden Ausmaß dieses Bau festzuhalten.
